The restaurant community on Rainbow Blvd. near Arby Ave. will soon welcome a new Indian restaurant, Clove Indian Cuisine & Bar.
“The Rainbow area could really use an Indian restaurant,” owner Ankit Bansal told What Now Las Vegas in a phone call on Wednesday afternoon. “There’s a variety of restaurants there, but no Indian restaurant. So we thought it would be a great idea.”
The restaurant will serve familiar favorites from Indian cuisine including chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, and chana masala, a vegetarian mainstay.
“There are so many vegan options,” Bansal said. “Vegetarians are going to love the place.”
In addition to an array of plant-based choices, the menu will include proteins like lamb, goat, and shrimp and other seafoods. Guests can also enjoy a variety of lassis (yogurt-based beverages) and a selection of great dessert options.
Clove will provide a lunch buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner a la carte will be served 5-10:30 p.m. with a full bar and a number of Indian beers and spirits.
Bansal said the restaurant is looking at an opening date in the first or second week of October.
