A new entertainment destination is slated to open in Las Vegas’s Historic Commercial Center later this summer, according to recent coverage by KTNV Las Vegas. Launched by Damian Costa and Nick Cordaro of Pompey Entertainment, the venue—called The Composers Room Showlounge & Restaurant—will offer live music, dinner, and drinks.
“The Composers Room was conceived in part as a tribute to my family’s start in Vegas show business,” Damian Costa says in the KTNV coverage. “Both of my grandfathers were involved in Las Vegas show business and my paternal grandfather, Tony Costa, was a concert pianist and songwriter, as well as a conductor for famous shows such as ‘Jubilee!’ and ‘Gypsy’ on Broadway.”
Costa added that the venue will offer “memorable food and upscale cocktails,” in addition to “musical performances from today’s artists in an atmosphere that calls to mind the style and elegance of the past.”
Celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, the Historic Commercial Center is home to a number of food and beverage concepts, including La Vecindad, Komol, Vickie’s Diner, and Badlands Las Vegas.
What Now reached out to Nick Cordaro on Thursday to inquire about The Composers Room Showlounge and Restaurant. Cordaro was not immediately available for comment.
