Newly-updated mixed-use business office and retail center The Center at Lake Mead, located in northwest Las Vegas on the corner of the intersection between North Jones Boulevard and West Lake Mead Boulevard, will soon be home to a new Starbucks location. Clark County issued a work permit for the location this summer, and a recent post on LinkedIn indicates construction is underway.

Home to a number of local businesses, Lake Mead (and those passing by on the busy commute) will now have easy access to Starbucks’ world-famous tea and coffee drinks, including lattes, hot and iced coffee, Starbucks’s branded frozen Frappuccino, and other hot and cold beverages. Also available are the brand’s breakfast sandwiches, hot and cold sandwiches, chips, pastries, and dessert offerings.

The food and drink community around the Lake Mead-Jones intersection is already based around speed and convenience, allowing Starbucks to fit right in with other household-name concepts like Pizza Hut, Burger King, KFC, and Domino’s Pizza.

What Now reached out to several representatives of Starbucks on Wednesday, including Regional Director Noel Hord. The representatives either were not immediately available or declined to comment. No opening date has been announced for the Center at Lake Mead Starbucks location.
