Hotai Plaza will soon welcome Dakao, a new Vietnamese restaurant, into its community of dining and shopping locations.

Owner Kang Vu confirmed the news in a noontime phone call with What Now Las Vegas. The restaurant is currently still in the construction process, and is awaiting permits.

The restaurant’s menu is still under construction as well, Kang said, but it will revolve around Vietnamese noodle soups like the ever-popular pho. Further details on the restaurant’s menu, branding, and hours of operation are unavailable at this time.

The location at 4545 Spring Mountain Road is part of Hotai Plaza, a retail center home to a number of restaurant, retail, and other commercial outlets. It is home to local businesses like Puppy Heaven and Jubilee Furniture, as well as dining and entertainments spots like Game Nest Arcade, hot pot restaurant Nabe, Sushi Zone, and dumplings and Korean BBQ restaurant Garionban.

Dakao will open in suite 103, formerly occupied by Good Foot Spa. An official opening date has yet to be announced.
