“From the can’t-decide-between-bacon-or-sausage type to the pickiest eaters at the table — we’ve got something for everyone,” the beloved brand’s website reads.
“All delicious. All under budget.”
What began as “Danny’s Donuts” for founders Harold Butler and Richard Jezak in 1953 in Lakewood, California, quickly evolved into the 24-hour coffee shop we all know and love today. Rebranding to “Denny’s” in 1961 to avoid confusion with another chain, the brand grew into a global diner chain known for breakfast.
There are now more than 1,600 Denny’s locations worldwide, with the vast majority of those locations in the United States. The US houses more than 1,300 Denny’s eateries, primarily in California, Texas, and Florida. Las Vegas has a little more than 25 locations in the immediate area, with several operating 24 hours a day.
The new Denny’s slated to open in Arizona Charlie’s Decateur is expected to operate the same.
Denny’s is anticipated to open in the Arizona Charlie’s in the Charleston Heights Shopping Center at 740 S Decatur Blvd before the end of this year.
