The “Official Hot Dog of Los Angeles,” Dirt Dog has made significant inroads in Las Vegas, with three locations in the city and plans for a fourth. Paperwork filed with Clark County specifies “Architectural, Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical work” for a new location at 3783 S Las Vegas Blvd, with an estimated budget of $90,000.
The chain offers a wide variety of hot dog configurations, including the Green Dog (“100% Premium All Beef Nathan’s 5/1 Dog, Wrapped In Center Cut Bacon, Chimichurri Sauce, Guacamole Spread”) the Red Dog (“100% Premium All Beef Nathan’s 5/1 Dog, Wrapped In Center Cut Bacon, Spicy Red Sauce, Chipotle Aioli), and the Elote Dog (“100% Premium All Beef Nathan’s 5/1 Dog, Wrapped In Center Cut Bacon, Corn, Lime Mayo, Cotija, Chili, Cilantro, Bacon Bits”).
The menu also features street style corn on a stick and esquite, both of which are available in “Flaming” form, sprinkled with Hot Cheetos crumbles. Fries also come in several loaded varieties like Dirty Chili Fries, Filthy Fries (“Guac, Chipotle Aioli, Sour Cream, Cheddar Cheese, Cotija, Jalapenos, Bacon Bits”), and Carne Asada Fries.
For dessert, guests choose from delectable options like the Deep Fried Oreo, the Deep Fried Twinkie, and Horchata Ice Cream.
The location at 3783 S Las Vegas Blvd is in a small strip mall at the corner of Las Vegas Blvd and Park Ave. It houses an American Eagle Store, an Adidas Store, a Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, and a Del Taco, among others. No opening date for the upcoming Dirt Dog location has been announced.
