The Rainbow Blvd location of Distill, a chain of “local bar” taverns, will have a grand reopening soon, following a major renovation.
Originally opened in May 2019, the location has been closed remodeling, but a recent ad posted on Craigslist announced that the restaurant would soon begin hiring for reopening, following a job fair to be held in early October.
The ad also featured renderings of the new space showing a sleek, relaxed space with full bar and overhead TV screens, along with table seating.
The newly-opened Distill Rainbow will feature 15 20-inch LCD gaming screens and a “VIP gaming club that offers free play and endless slot promotions,” along with 18 HD screens.
Distill bars have served dishes like Shanghai Brussels sprouts, Cajun IPA butter shrimp and avocado eggrolls, along with familiar bar favorites like burgers and wings. They also offer a selection of beers and cocktails.
“A lot of bars don’t focus on food. We do,” Co-Owner Mike Nigro told the Las Vegas Sun in an interview around the time of the restaurant’s previous opening. “Ninety percent of our menu is made from scratch and every spring and fall, we take 10 items off and add 10 more. We found that the people who like to go to our places tend to go more than once a week, and they like to try new things and don’t want the same things over and over.”
What Now Las Vegas reached out to Nigro by phone on Thursday. Nigro was unavailable for comment.
