With locations throughout Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas, local Mexican fast casual chain Don Tortaco Mexican Grill appears to be planning yet another location in Spring Valley. Paperwork was recently submitted to Clark County for a “Don Tortaco” project, proposing to construct brand-new building at 6045 S Durango Dr with an estimated construction budget of $750,000.

The chain offers a sizeable menu of favorites from Mexican cuisine, including tacos, tostadas, burritos, chimichangas, burritos, and more. These dishes feature a variety of proteins: chicken, beef, adobada, asada, carnitas, and lengua. The menu opens with eighteen different combination plates, including the Machaca Plate, the Chorizo Plate, and Camarones a la Diabla. Other tasty choices include a variety of tortas and quesadillas, as well nachos and asada fries.

The prospective site on Durango Dr is located near Valley Specialty Hospital, not far north of the intersection with Patrick Ln, just past Giuseppe’s Bar and Grill.

What Now Las Vegas reached out on Wednesday to owner Apolinar Ibarra on Wednesday morning for questions. Ibarra declined to comment. No timeline for construction and opening has been announced.
