Founded in the U.K. and inspired by Berlin, where “the culture and kebabs blew our minds in the best way possible,” Doner Shack is planning to take its kebab shops stateside. As part of this expansion, the brand has announced a 3-unit deal with franchisee Mr. Kainth to bring Doner Kebab to the Las Vegas valley, says coverage by QSR Magazine.

“This exciting move marks another key milestone in Doner Shack’s expansion to US soil, bringing its delicious Doner and shawarma kebabs, buttermilk fried chicken tenders, loaded fries, and sliders to an international audience hungry for something new,” says the QSR Magazine article. “With its signature menu and contemporary dining experience, Doner Shack is set to stand out in the Vegas culinary landscape.”

What Now reached out this week to Mr. Kainth to inquire about plans for the opening. Kainth said it’s still too early to reveal any of the specific locales where these new locations will be opening. “It’s probably not for another six months,” Kainth said.

“Welcoming a franchisee in Las Vegas is a testament to Doner Shack’s unstoppable momentum, and we couldn’t think of a better city to showcase our unique dining experience,.” said Doner Shack co-founder Sanj Sanghera in QSR. “The excitement surrounding our US expansion continues to grow, and we’re thrilled to see Doner Shack take centre stage in one of the most iconic food and entertainment capitals in the world. We’re delighted to welcome Mr. Kainth to the Doner Shack family.”

The U.K. menu features a selection of chicken tenders, sliders with beef doner or crispy chicken, and kebabs like the O.G. Doner Kebab, the O.G. Chicken Shawarma, Halloumi, and the Mustafa (toasted pita, chicken shawarma, courgettes, peppers, feta, herbs). There are also several takes on loaded fries, plus milkshakes and ice cream sundaes.

“When I first spoke with the Doner Shack team, I was immediately impressed by their scalable business model and vision for growth. I have no doubt this brand will excel in the US market, and I’m honored to be part of its journey,” said Kainth in QSR. “I’ve been a long-time admirer of Doner, and since moving to the US, I’ve really missed it. What drew me most to Doner Shack was its simplicity – a focused menu of kebabs, loaded fries, and tenders, all done exceptionally well with fresh, bold authentic flavors. I’m incredibly excited to introduce this concept to Vegas and share Doner Shack with locals and tourists alike.”
