Just west of the Henderson line, on the southwest corner of the intersection between South Eastern Avenue and East Silverado Ranch Boulevard, a new Korean restaurant is preparing for an opening. Dynamite Korean Street Food and Sushi/Grill will open in suite H07 at 9711 S Eastern Ave.

“There’s really only one other Korean street food place in Vegas,” co-owner Steve Park told What Now on Wednesday. “So we wanted to incorporate that. And in Henderson, there’s no Korean food in general. We can really offer a lot of great food to the area.”

The menu will feature popular Korean street foods like tteokbokki and bulgogi, bowls like the Bulgogi Bowl and the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl, and spicy seafood ramen. Sushi will be available a la carte, with special Vegas-themed rolls like the Golden Knight Roll and the Raiders Roll. Initially conceived as a Korean-style cafe before moving in the direction of street food and sushi, Dynamite Korean Street Food will also offer a selection of desserts.

“It’s a family restaurant,” Park said. “My father has been a chef his whole life.”

The South Eastern Avenue location is part of a building that also houses food and drink spots like Yummy Grill Sushi, No. 1 Boba Tea, and Nothing Bundt Cakes. Just south on Eastern is a cluster of eateries that include Krispy Kreme, Freed’s Bakery, Molly’s Diamond Tavern, and Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers.
