With a little over a dozen locations spread all over the country, Effin Egg is offering “a unique and delicious twist on a traditional breakfast sandwich” in more and more cities. Now, the brand is preparing to make its debut in Las Vegas, at 4555 S Fort Apache Road, Suite 122.

Behind Effin Egg’s Las Vegas debut is franchisee Sarah Morgen-Fox. After spending years in the restaurant business, Morgen-Fox wanted to invest in a business of her own.

“I began looking into franchises about 3 years ago that I would want to invest my time and money into, when I came across this cute little franchise, that at first glance made me giggle with the name, Effin Egg, but it was only what I thought was a silly dream,” Morgen-Fox told What Now in an email conversation. “Reading into it, Jeff Martin, the owner, started a bakery from his house in Kansas City at 18 with the last few dollars he had. He eventually expanded to owning over 200 bakeries across the US, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia. In 2020 he saw the need for fast, but high-quality breakfast sandwiches and the Effin Egg was born. I have always had a love for all things breakfast and could eat it every meal of the day. I absolutely loved the thought of expanding the variety of fast breakfast items, but without sacrificing the quality. Upon having the chance to speak with Jeff over the phone, his calm, and kind, demeanor, and the fact that he truly just wants everyone he knows to succeed, I knew I had to do whatever it took to be a part of this franchise.”

Effin Egg’s breakfast sandwiches come in varieties like The CEO (Cage-free soft scrambled eggs and chives, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions and our signature chipotle aioli in a signature brioche bun), and the Really! Effin Turkey (turkey bacon, cage free over medium egg, sliced cheddar, with our signature Mexican sauce on a warm signature Hawaiian bun). Or, if you’re feeling a breakfast burrito, there’s the Spicy Brisket Burrito (House made brisket, cage-free scrambled eggs, jack cheese, with jalapeno aioli), the Hang-Over (Burrito stuffed with thick cut bacon, tater tots, queso & chipotle aioli), and a lot more.

Morgen-Fox says the location is now preparing for a launch on May 17. It will seat 23 guests, featuring a unique Alice in Wonderland-inspired interior design. Artist Miguel Hernandez (@mglhrndz) brought the space to life.

“We cannot express how much everyone’s outpouring of love and support on our Instagram, EffinEggLV, over the last year of waiting, has meant to us… We truly hope it is a place that people will come to feel at home, enjoy a coffee from our espresso bar while they wait for their hand crafted items, soak in the art, and continue to return to for years to come.”
