Las Vegas hospitality powerhouse Andy Hooper is set to open his newest restaurant, El Luchador Kitchen and Cantina, early next week in Mountain’s Edge.
As El Luchador prepares to open, they have shared some teasers as to what guests can expect to see on the menu — elote with chilis and queso cojita, as well as a mojito named after Mountain’s Edge.
Hooper’s other popular ventures have included Locale Italian Kitchen and The Black Sheep. After launching The Black Sheep in South Las Vegas in 2017, Hooper began to receive critical acclaim, along with the restaurant’s chef Jamie Tran. His 2019 launch of Locale soon resulted in a James Beard nomination. In addition to his restaurants, he is also the CEO of Hooper Hospitality Concepts.
El Luchador management told What Now Las Vegas that they predict to open either Monday or Tuesday of next week.
