Permits have been filed for a new Mexican restaurant to open in the city.
Named El Rincon Guerrero Mexican Grill the new restaurant will reportedly be replacing Pro Kabob Persian Restaurant in the Valley Oaks Plaza.
Owner Mirna Benito Gonzalez confirmed the new location but declined to comment further.
While little has been revealed about El Rincon, the Valley Oaks Plaza, on West Sahara Avenue, serves as a prime location just a few minutes from The Strip on the northwest corner of Sahara Avenue and Valley View Boulevard. With almost 160,000 residents within a three-mile area, traffic counts are reported to be over 50,000 per day along Sahara Avenue.
Shadow anchored by Carl’s Jr, Title Max, and Sprint Wireless, inline tenants include American First Credit Union and Cricket. The plaza is approximately one mile from the I-15 Freeway and 2.2 miles from the US-95 Freeway.
