Pickleball is coming to Henderson in a big way—it’s just taking a little longer than expected. Chicken N Pickle—a sizable pickleball venue, sports bar, and restaurant planned at St. Rose Parkway and Maryland Parkway—was originally working toward an opening late last year. The project has faced delays, however, and is expected to open in late 2024, says recent coverage by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The 3-acre site will be Chicken N Pickle’s first location in the state of Nevada. (Asked whether any more are in the works in the Las Vegas area, Chicken N Pickle’s senior director of communications Carrie Bartlow told the Review-Journal, “We are always looking.”)
“We are committed to remaining the best-in-class pickleball entertainment destination as we expand nationally, and look forward to opening in Henderson in late 2024,” Bartlow says in the RJ coverage.
The restaurant at Chicken N Pickle’s Phoenix location offers sharables like Wings, Fried Pickles, and Avocado Hummus, along dishes like Chicken N Waffles and a Half Rack of Ribs served “From the Grill.” There are also handhelds like the Country Fried Chicken sandwich and Salads like the Skinny Cob. This paints a vivid picture; still, no details have been confirmed yet about the Henderson location’s menu.
What Now reached to Chicken N Pickle VP of Operations Joe Palermo to ask about the location’s menu. Palermo was not immediately available for comment.
