New Orleans-based chain of bars and specialty frozen drinks Fat Tuesday is making strides on the Las Vegas Strip. What Now Las Vegas has recently reported on new locations planned for the Grand Bazaar Shops and Fashion Show Las Vegas. Permit paperwork submitted to Clark County estimates a $500,000 construction budget for work setting up a new Fat Tuesday location in the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian.
Founded in 1983 and made famous by its frozen drinks, the bar chain is flexible in its layouts. Some feature full kitchens and restaurants with generous seating space, while some other limit themselves to drinks and operate out of space with low square footage. No information is currently available about the layout of the Grand Canal Shoppes location.
At the Grand Canal Shoppes, Fat Tuesday will be part of an exciting community of culinary destinations, including SUGARCANE Raw Bar & Grill, Trattoria Reggiano Italian Restaurant, and Buddy V’s Ristorante.
What Now Las Vegas was unable to reach a representative of Fat Tuesday on Wednesday. It is still unknown what the timeline will be for the chain’s new openings on the Strip, but stay tuned for updates as information becomes available!
