A new restaurant offering Spanish cuisine is preparing to open near the University District. Fideuá Taste of Spain will open its doors at 855 E Twain Ave. #107 early next year, and owner Farman Khaligh says it’s only the first of three locations planned for the city.

“We love the food, and we have been doing it for a long time,” Khaligh told What Now on Thursday. “We did 6 months of research in the U.S. We drove all over the country and made food and tested food all over the different markets. We are confident Vegas is going to love it.”

The restaurant’s menu will center paella, served in varieties with meat, veggies, or seafood. The restaurant will seat about 48 guests, and it’s anticipating lots of to-go orders as well. The primary menu will have a price point of about $20-25, but Fideuá will also be offering a second menu featuring more upscale choices (think proteins like lobster). Guests will need to make a reservation 24-48 hours in advance to try the restaurant’s second menu.

“It’s our idea to have three restaurants, including in Henderson,” Khaligh said. “We’ll establish the concept and then move on to franchising.”

Fideuá is expected to open in January or February of next year. You can keep up with the brand by following @fideautasteof on Instagram.
