Though the move into The Bend has been delayed until the end of the year, Baguette Cafe Owner Olivier Brouillet has plenty to look forward to.
The new location, just off The Bend, will be part of the campus at the MagnuM Tower, a multi-story office building in development in southwest Vegas where Cory Hartwell will open the Butcher & Thief steakhouse.
Set to open another location in Henderson next month, expansion appears to be on the horizon for the fourth generation restaurateur.
“We get so many guests from all over the valley and we want to bring it to other locations,” he said. “I just got kind of lucky in Henderson as the owners of a local shopping center in town had been coming to Baguette cafe since it opened.”
Though he didn’t have any photos to share, he said the new location will be off Horizon in a former Coffee Bean, at 10604 South Eastern Avenue Suite A.
“It’s a perfect location right in the intersection,” he said.
Baguette Cafe has been around for nearly 12 years, serving French-inspired breakfast and lunch.
While Brouillet hoped to be open in The Bend in the summer he couldn’t be more excited about all of the extra space it will provide.
“Over there we will be much more open to the street,” he said. “It’s really exciting to be in locations with more taffic. We have a really strong following and being with other restaurants in The Bend will be great.”
With a bigger kitchen, Brouillet plans to bring charcuterie and other items to the menu that he couldn’t before because he didn’t have the room.
He plans to add beer and wine and stay open till 9 p.m. instead of 5 p.m. at the new digs.
