Good Company Burgers is about to explode on the Valley’s burger scene once it opens at Area15 this year. According to a recent press release, Good Company Burgers is set to open along with an array of new eateries at 3215 S. Rancho Drive.
The press release details that Good Company Burgers will be in good company when the new burger concept opens at AREA15 in the second quarter alongside Cosmic Pretzel, Chilangos Tacos, and Saint Honoré Doughnuts & Beignets, just to name a few.
The man behind the brand is none other than Chef Sam Marvin of Echo & Rig, which won the #1 “Best Steakhouse in Las Vegas” in 2025.
“Steakhouses make the best burgers for ourselves and for our customers. So, the opportunity arose to do a burger concept, so I created one,” Chef Marvin said in a conversation with What Now Las Vegas.
The press release states that Good Company Burgers will feature milkshakes, beer, house-made fries, and wagyu smash burgers.
“We’re not really a smash burger. We’re calling ourselves a subtle smash burger,” Chef Marvin said.
“We’re called Good Company Burgers because everything we’re doing is really good.”
While burger joints continue to pop up around the valley, Good Company Burgers has something perhaps they do not.
“It’s not just going to be a phenomenal burger, but it’s also done really correctly,” Chef Marvin said.
And for Chef Marvin and his Good Company Burgers brand, that means pure Wagyu patties.
“Nowadays, wagyu patties are sort of like hot dogs. You have no idea where it’s coming from,” Chef Marvin said.
“You’ve got scraps from every piece of the animal. It could be coming off the knuckles and things like that. It’s just wagyu meat, but it’s in a big crate, you don’t even know what part of it it’s coming from because it’s all mixed together with tons of stuff. The wagyu we’re using is a full muscle grind; we know what ranch it comes from because I’ve been there. A lot of stuff is just different about what we’re doing,”
Those full muscle grind wagyu patties are placed upon a brioche potato bun with a layer of new American cheese placed on top of it all. To accompany the Good Company Burgers are more good eats. The fries are cut in-house and fried in beef tallow.
“Everything’s from scratch nothings coming out of a bag or freezer,” Chef Marvin said.
Perhaps it is only apt that this out-of-world eatery debuts at Vegas’s top other-worldly experience.
“The world’s leading immersive entertainment destination, parallel to the Vegas Strip, is expanding and better than ever. That means 35 acres of world-class Food + Beverage, Retail, Attractions, Events, Experiences, and Art, unlike anywhere on earth,” the AREA15 website reads.
Good Company Burgers will live in a prime position, inside the venue, right next to Universal Horror Unleashed.
“Universal Horror is anticipating 3.1 million people this year. AREA15 last year, before they expanded and without Universal, they were seeing 3 and a half million people a year,” Chef Marvin said.
“So, it’s the numbers. It’s a very successful, exciting venue, and what this new second phase of it is bringing to the market is unbelievable.”
The second phase set to hit AREA15 includes Korean inspired burger eatery, Fuku, a favorite of locals and Chef Marvin.
The developments to come to the Las Vegas entertainment venue are drawing out the best the Valley has to offer. Chef Marvin appears sure of it.
“There are a lot of great burgers in Vegas; they’re just different. Some have blue cheese on them, which makes it great. Some have a Korean influence. Some are thick, some are thin,” Chef Marvin said.
“So, it’s tough to say the best burger, but in our classic American cheese burger that we’re going to do, it’s going to be the best classic American cheese burger in Vegas.”
Good Company Burgers is expected to open in AREA15 at 3215 S. Rancho Drive by mid-2026.
