With a considerable roster of shopping and dining locations, Grand Bazaar Shops is a major destination for good times on the Strip. And those good times may be about to ramp up still more: permit paperwork recently submitted to Clark County shows plans for a “Rockwood Music Hall” project at the Grand Bazaar Shops’ address, 3635 S Las Vegas Blvd.

The name Rockwood Music Hall will be familiar to music lovers conversant with New York City music scene. Founded in 2005 as a small, single-stage venue, Rockwood Music Hall has grown to include three stages with top-of-the-line sound systems. A 21+ venue, it offers drinks and live music on each of its three stages seven days a week. It may now be branching out with another location, this time on the Las Vegas Strip.

What Now Las Vegas reached out to owner Ken Rockwood last week. Rockwood was not immediately available for comment.

No information is yet available on an opening date for Rockwood Music Hall at 3635 S Las Vegas Blvd, but keep your eyes peeled for more drinks and live music headed to the Strip, just on the opposite Caesars Palace on the corner of Flamingo and Las Vegas Blvd.
