With a name meaning “palace vegetables,” Gung Chae Korean Healthy Kitchen “was born to popularize Korean Royal Court Cuisine.” The brand currently has two locations in the valley, in Henderson and the Centennial area, and now it’s preparing to open a third, this time at Town Square Las Vegas.

This week, What Now came across licensing paperwork submitted to Clark County by Ebobs NV Inc. for a new Gung Chae Korean Healthy Kitchen opening at 6605 Las Vegas Blvd S, Suite B-137.

The menu features favorites from Korean cuisine like Bibimbap (or Hot Stone Pot Bibimbap) with protein choices like veggie, chicken, spicy pork, and bulgogi; Kimbap; Cold Noodles; and Stews like Kimchi Stew and Ox Bone Soup.

“Since 2007 we have developed a wide range of Korean traditional dishes by reinterpreting the Korean Royal Court Cuisines to suit modern customers’ tastes, and to serve the best fast food,” says the Gung Chae website. “We are confident that everyone who has experienced food flavored with a handmade sauce containing Gung Chae’s secret recipe will be fascinated by the Korean aesthetic of taste.”

What Now reached out on Wednesday to owner Donghwan Park to ask about plans for the opening. Park was not immediately available for comment.
