At an event held by the Guy Fieri Foundation and Caesars Entertainment to honor local veterans and first responders with food and thanks, the superstar chef confirmed a new project is in the works for Horseshoe Las Vegas (currently the rebranding Bally’s), according to recent coverage in the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

“They came and said, ‘Hey, listen, we know that we have The Linq and we crush over there,'” the Review-Journal quotes Fieri.

Despite this mention of The Linq’s Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen and Bar, the project is not a simple copy-and-paste version of that restaurant. The food and drink will be bespoke for the Horseshoe project.

“We’re kind of like a band,” continues Fieri in the Review-Journal coverage. “We’re writing things and creating things, and you’re gonna see stuff you’ve never seen on any of our other menus.”

The event ended with the celebrity chef receiving, from Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft, the Key to the Strip.

Anthony Carano, President and Chief Operating Officer of Caesars Entertainment, spoke approvingly about the chef, saying he reflected the company’s values.

“Guy gives back everywhere he goes,” Carano said.
