A new Mediterranean takeout restaurant is preparing to open in the retail center on Decatur Boulevard, at the intersection with West El Parque Avenue. Licensing paperwork was submitted to the City of Las Vegas for Halal House, opening at 2003 S Decatur Blvd Suite A.

Halal House will offer a takeout menu with dishes from Mediterranean cuisine, particularly the cuisines of Morocco and Lebanon, owner Anas El Youssoufi told What Now on Friday.

“It’s going to be very authentic,” El Youssoufi said in a phone call. “I liked to call it a ‘pure taste’ because that’s exactly what it is.”

Pure Taste is also the name of a catering service Youssoufi operates. It serves up Mediterranean, American, Moroccan, Indian, and Italian food for a variety of private events.

More details are not yet available on Halal House, but keep an eye out whenever you’re driving by Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet Las Vegas: Halal House is opening soon nearby.
