Located at 5715 S Eastern Ave., Hana Ramen has built a following with its menu of ramen and other noodle and rice offerings. Building on this success, the Hana brand will expand to a new location: Hana Ramen & Izakaya will open its doors at 6435 S Rainbow Blvd. #102 this summer.
“We’ll open probably sometime in July,” a representative of the restaurant told What Now on Monday, with the usual caveat: it all depends on the permits.
The Eastern Avenue Hana location offers a menu that opens with appetizers like Seaweed Salad, Agedashi Tofu, and Chashu Pork Buns. Its ramen offerings include Tonkotsu Ramen and Miso Ramen, along with the dangerous Jigoku (Hell Ramen): “Extra spicy ramen served with pork broth, Spinach, onion, green onion, bamboo shoots, dry seaweed, spicy miso ground pork, egg, served with shoyu sauce, pork belly.”
In addition, Hana Ramen and Izakaya will offer a new izakaya menu, as indicated by the new name. This will include a variety of small plates, skewers, yakitori, and more.
The upcoming location, which is expected to seat approximately 52 guests, is part of a retail center situated on the northwest corner of the intersection between South Rainbow Boulevard and West Sunset Road. The intersection is home to a number of food and drink spots, including The Cracked Egg, Bonchon, Roberto’s Taco Shop, and Sushi Baaam.
