Founded in Ohio in 1945, Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream has grown to include nearly 100 locations in the United States. The brand first arrived in Las Vegas in 2015, when franchisee Patrick Frank launched the Handel’s location on West Tropicana Avenue, in the southwest. As What Now reported back in January, another Las Vegas location, helmed by franchisees James and Carly LeDuc, is headed to 7345 Arroyo Crossing Parkway.

Additionally, What Now has found paperwork this week showing another planned location from Patrick Frank. It would open at 10445 Spencer St., near the intersection with St. Rose Parkway.

Handel’s ice cream comes in a wide variety of flavors. The selection varies by location, but a few examples include Peanut Butter Parfait (chocolate butter fudge ice cream with Reese’s Peanut Butter® ripple), Cheesecake with Oreo (cheesecake ice cream with cheesecake chunks, Oreo® cookies, and Oreo® crumbs), and Meri’s Joy (coconut ice cream with almonds and chocolate chips).

What Now reached out to Patrick Frank on Monday to inquire regarding plans for a Spencer-St. Rose Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream location. Frank was not immediately available for comment on the news.
