Shanghai Plaza, the large retail center on the northeastern corner of the intersection between Arville St and W Spring Mountain Rd, will soon say hello to Hell’s Chicken, a restaurant bringing a new, refined take on Nashville-style hot chicken to Chinatown.

What Now Las Vegas confirmed the news with owner and chef Oong Kim (Eddie) on the phone on Monday morning. Chef Eddie brings to the table years of experience working as a private chef for celebrities and Beverly Hills. Now, after a sojourn in Nashville gathering hot-chicken know-how, he’s breaking out of the fine dining space and offering his take on the current fried chicken craze.

“Our chicken is never frozen,” Kim said. “It’s halal grade and never given antibiotics.”

The finer details of the restaurant’s menu have yet to be released, but a photo gallery on the Hell’s Chicken website shows fried chicken, wings, rice dishes, shrimp, salads, sandwiches, gyoza-style fried dumplings, and more.

At Shanghai Plaza, Hell’s Chicken will be joining a sizeble community of dining spots, including Shinjuku Ramen, Magal BBQ, and Wishful Dumpling House. It is expected to open before the end of spring.
