The boba purists behind Honolulu’s beloved Mr. Tea Cafe will launch their first out of state expansion in Las Vegas this year.

“Vegas is a second home to us and we know it’s often considered the 9th island so we couldn’t think of a better place for our first out of state expansion,” Owner George Huang told What Now Las Vegas.

Honolulu Boba will make its second home at 9516 W Flamingo Road in Spring Valley. The space, just under 1,00 square feet, will have a welcoming and fun interior similar to the Mr. Tea Cafe’s in Hawaii, which have a modern industrial look with wooden tables and rustic, brick walls adorned with chalk board menus. Honolulu Boba will offer indoor and outdoor seating to create a great hangout spot for everyone.

Like Mr. Tea Cafe, Honolulu Boba will offer delectable boba milk tea made with high-quality ingredients (fresh boba, rolled tea leaves, 100%-percent matcha tea and honey) that are imported from Taiwan. Its menu ranges from traditional milk teas to cereal- and yogurt-based drinks, such as the tantalizing Fruity Pebbles and Purple Rice Yogurt. Huang’s personal favorite drink is the Roasted Oolong Tea, which he describes as “the perfect balance between that toasty roasted flavor with a full bodied tea but not that burnt charred flavor you find with some shops’ roasted teas.” Additional heavenly milk tea flavors include strawberry, honeydew melon, wintermelon, and matcha. Guests can also choose from a wide selection of toothsome toppings such as boba, grass jelly, custard pudding, chia seeds, coffee jelly, aloe, rainbow jelly, azuki beans, lychee jelly, jasmine green tea jelly, haupia (coconut jelly), and ice cream.

Honolulu Boba will open early this fall with some pretty awesome grand opening promos that you won’t want to miss out on. For updates on the new shop and a preview of the delicious drinks and treats coming to Spring Valley, visit Mr. Tea Cafe’s official website and Instagram.
