Although Hotdogland, a restaurant serving hot dogs, corn dogs, buffalo wings, and other American foods in Topaz Plaza on Tropicana Ave, closed its doors last year, it is ready to come back all the stronger. The restaurant will reopen soon in tandem with The Enchilada House, a new Mexican food concept, occupying suites 7 & 8 at 2570 E Tropicana Ave.

“It’s a Mexican restaurant that will be different from a lot of the ones here,” a representative of restaurant the told What Now Las Vegas on Thursday. “It’s going to be a different presentation. More classic, more like the restaurants in Mexico.”

Topaz Plaza is a small retail center located on the northwestern corner of the intersection between Topaz St and Tropicana Ave. The Enchilada House and Hotdogland will be joining a community of retail and dining locations that include Cuban Sylvain Bakery, Havana Express Cuban Kitchen & Bakery, and, on the other side of Tropicana, El Toque del Sabor and Jamaican Vybz Bar & Grille.

Details on the Enchilada House’s menu and operating hours are unavailable at this time. No opening date has been announced.
