House of Korean BBQ, Cove Oyster Bar Coming to Fort Apache

The two Kanji LLC projects are set to open in the plaza at 6415 S Fort Apache Rd

Kanji LLC, a company headed up by restaurateur Jihyuck Hwang and which began with Kanji Steak & Sushi (now Jjanga Steak & Sushi), has several new restaurant projects currently in progress. These include Sushi Time, a collaborative effort between several longtime Las Vegas sushi chefs, as well as Nalsso Korean BBQ.

Two more projects have been expected, both of which in the plaza on the northwest corner of the intersection between S Fort Apache RdW Sunset Rd: an oyster bar and another Korean barbecue restaurant.

Details have been scarce on these projects, but permit paperwork submitted recently to Clark County for the installation of the restaurants’ respective grease interceptors have provided names: House of Korean BBQ and The Cove Oyster Bar.

Located across Fort Apache Rd from Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center, the plaza at 6415 S Fort Apache Rd is home to retail businesses like Top Shelf Wine & Spirits and D’s Smokes & Gifts, along with eateries like Pizza Hut, Bruno’s Taco Bar, and Sip & Savor Kitchen.

What Now Las Vegas was unable to reach a contact at the company on Monday for more details. Opening dates for the two restaurants are currently unavailable.
