A new wine bar and wine shop has been proposed for Downtown Las Vegas. Paperwork submitted to the Las Vegas Planning Commission shows Hung Up on Wine in the works at 353 E Bonneville Ave., Suite 115, at the intersection with South Third Street.

“Our project, Hung Up on Wine, is a thoughtfully curated wine bar and retail concept that aims to enhance the cultural and economic vitality of the community,” says a letter submitted with the paperwork. “The proposed location is well-suited for this use due to its accessibility, compatibility with surrounding businesses, and the growing demand for locally driven hospitality and retail experiences.”

Hung Up on Wine would be a wine shop, a wine bar, and a tasting lounge, “offering curated wine flights, small plates, entrée [sic], and educational events.” This would include both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a private tasting area.

The new wine shop would also have a mission of bringing the community together and sharing wine knowledge: “Our vision includes wine education, community events, and partnerships with local organizations. We aim to become a neighborhood anchor that reflects the city’s spirit and promotes responsible enjoyment and cultural appreciation of wine.”

What Now reached out on Friday to owner Hung Nguyen to ask further about plans for Hung Up on Wine (small plates, you say?). Nguyen was not immediately available for comment.
