Dig It! Coffee Co., a coffee shop in downtown Las Vegas, has announced that its final day of service will be April 26. Owner Taylor Gardner Chaney posted a video on social media, citing ongoing construction around the shop as a major challenge.
Dig It! Coffee Co. to Close in April
Dig It! Coffee Co. was founded three years ago with a mission to provide inclusive employment opportunities for adults of all abilities. The coffee shop is a place for the community to connect and show up for a bigger cause.
In a recent social media post, the brand said the Arts District location will be closing at the end of the lease. Chaney shared the challenges faced by the independent coffee shop at the location. Construction work, road closures, and parking limitations made it difficult for the business to sustain operations.
Chaney shared with a heavy heart that this is not the end of Dig It! and the team is looking for a new home for the shop. The post read, “We are actively searching for our long-term home where our mission, our team, and everything we’ve built can truly thrive.”
She also mentioned that despite being one of Yelp’s best coffee shops in the entire U.S., Dig It!, the shop has to close.
