A new local cocktail bar will open later this year in Downtown Las Vegas. Liquor licensing paperwork was submitted to the City of Las Vegas for by Johnny Coco’s LLC for a bar by that name, Johnny Coco’s, opening at 32 W Imperial Ave.

Few details are available yet about Johnny Coco’s. What Now reached out to owner Steve Pereira to inquire about plans for the rollout, as well as the details of the menu and space on Imperial Avenue. Pereira was not immediately available for comment.

It’s not a complete mystery, however. Johnny Coco’s has done at least one popup. One took place in the last weeks of 2024, at The Good Wolf.

“We just wanted to thank everyone that stopped by the Johnny Coco’s pop up yesterday for Small Business Saturday,” says a post on the Johnny Coco’s Instagram page, which already has well over 100 followers. “It’s amazing how much local support we received and how many people we met from out of town.”

Meanwhile, the Instagram also gives an estimated launch timeline: “Coconuts drop Fall 2025,” says the Instagram bio. “‘We’ll know your name, what you drink, and have a comfortable seat for you.’”
