Jomaru Korean Hot Pot, the restaurant with the “Best Korean food in San Diego & Cerritos,” is preparing to make its Las Vegas debut. Licensing paperwork submitted to Clark County shows a new Jomaru Korean Hot Pot opening in Suite 2 at 2550 S Decatur Blvd, which address is confirmed by the brand’s website.

“If you’re looking for the best Korean food in San Diego, head to Convoy St, where you can find some of the best Korean restaurants offering authentic dishes,” says a description of the restaurant’s San Diego location on the website. “One must-try is Gamjatang, a famous Korean hot pot made with pork bones, vegetables, and a variety of spicy seasonings. This savory and spicy dish is known for its rich flavor and comforting qualities, perfect for a hearty meal with friends or family.”

And gamjatang is not all that’s on offer. There are also popular Korean dishes like bibimbap, bulgogi, and more.

The franchisee bringing Jomaru Korean Hot Pot to Las Vegas is none other than Vegas restaurateur Jihyuck Hwang of Kanji LLC, also known for restaurants like Nalsso Korean BBQ and Jjanga Steak and Sushi.

What Now reached out to a representative of Kanji LLC on Tuesday to ask about plans for the rollout of Jomaru Korean Hot Pot’s first Vegas location. The representative was not immediately available for comment.
