Originally launched at Desert Inn & Durango Commercial Center, Joy Burgers built a following the area before closing its doors (with promises to return). Now, the local burger brand is coming back by popular demand, with a new location opening soon at Meadows Mall.
“We are coming back!” said a post on Instagram by Joy Burgers two weeks ago. “We can’t reveal everything just yet, but here’s what we can say: we’re coming back, more passionate than ever about crafting burgers and delivering an incredible experience for you. We’ve received hundreds of messages, and nothing feels better than knowing we’ve got your support.”
That support has been vocal. One commenter on the Instagram post told this story about their experience with the Joy Burgers:
“I have been battling a very rare Sarcoma cancer for about 3 years. Money has been tight. My diet is pretty limited but this place worked with being on keto. I looked up the best burger spots and that is how I found Joy Burgers! I reached out about possibly having a burger date night with my hubby. They reached back out and said absolutely! They treated us both and it was amazing! Thank you again for having us and we can’t wait to come and support what you guys have coming soon! We will be there!”
Owner Hector Garcia told What Now on Saturday that the Meadows Mall location is not the only big announcement Joy Burgers has in store. Rather, more news is coming regarding further openings for the brand. That’s all under wraps for now, however. Meanwhile, at the Meadows Mall location, you can expect to find the same Joy Burgers favorites, with, Garcia says, “a little twist on a few things.”
