Already home to four restaurants, a co-work space, and more, Oak Brook Realty & InvestmentsUrban Mall Downtown, will soon add a new bar to its food and beverage roster. Jury Room Bar will open in the building, at 321 S Casino Center Blvd.

“Jury Room Bar was formed to service businesses in the urban mall,” owner Kevin Plencner told What Now on Friday.

Those businesses include a wedding chapel, which does over 100 weddings a week, along with Rufino’s Pizza, which just held its grand opening; Tacos N More, which is in the process of opening; and Sultan’s Grill. Espressions Coffee Shop and Grill, which has been established for 10 years, is currently for sale, Plencner said.

Jury Room Bar will have two seating areas totaling 120 seats and will also serve an outdoor patio area. It will have exclusive rights to serve liquor in the building and will collaborate with the building’s other restaurants and businesses.

“Long term we are presently working on permit plans to build out a 20,000 square foot space on the 8th floor of the 321 building, gaining more space for entertainment events and other uses,” Plencer added. “The 8th floor is open to the sky, giving excellent views of Downtown in every direction.”
