If there wasn’t already enough to be excited about at Spring Mountain Drive newcomer Korean Hotpot, soon you’ll be able to enjoy a beer or soju (or whatever other drink you want) while scarfing down some delicious food.
Owner Paul Park says approval for the restaurant’s new liquor license may take up to a few months, but that’s no reason to wait to try their topnotch Korean favorites.
Like it says in the name, Hotpot specializes hot clay pot favorites. That means soups like pork bone and potato or hot pot Bulgogi and obviously Bibimbob. Pro tip: let it sit for a minute so the rice on the bottom develops a crust.
But don’t worry, if soup and Bibimbob both aren’t you bag, Korean Hotpot has a full list of Korean BBQ options too, plus noodles, appetizers, fried rice, and even a massive large format braised short rib that’s perfect for sharing. Once drinks are on the docket too, Korean Hotpot seems primed to be a dinner party favorite for years to come.
