Based in Henderson, local catering service Itze Service Catering has offered “everything from table and chair rentals to food and decorations for events.” The company is now preparing to expand its services with a new brick-and-mortar banquet hall space. According to licensing paperwork submitted to the city of Las Vegas, Itze Banquet Hall will open at 1250 Burnham Avenue.
“We will offer all different kinds of food,” owner Paulina Paredes-Laguna told What Now on Tuesday. “Mexican, Italian-American, really any kind people want.”
The space will feature seating for about 250 guests, Paredes-Laguna said, and it will be outfitted with a stage and equipment for live music. Itze Banquet Hall is also currently waiting on permits for liquor, beer, and wine.
The space is located to the rear of East Charleston Plaza, a retail center on the intersection of East Charleston Boulevard and Burnham Avenue. The plaza is also home to retailers like Ross Dress for Less and Albertons, along with restaurants like Port of Subs, Tacos El Gordo, and Del Taco.
