Business owners from Las Vegas and beyond gathered to share insights, make connections and collaborate at the first Accelerate event hosted by What Now Media Group on the strip.
The free event hosted more than 30 representatives from businesses that have been featured on What Now Las Vegas, as well as more than 10 industry-leading experts in What Now Media Group’s network of Preferred Partners.
Attendees mingled while enjoying bites and beverages from Happy Camper. Happy Hospitality is a restaurant group founded in 2013 by Clay Hamilton and Josh Iachelli. What started as Homeslice in Lincoln Park, Chicago, has quickly expanded into multiple concepts, including Happy Camper and Paradise Park. The strip location opened in February 2024, not to mention the six other brick-and-mortars in Chicago and Denver.
The trendy pizza joint located directly on the strip serves a unique lineup of flavorful ‘za, burgers and more. Guests can enjoy a spacious patio with high-top and bar seating, plus cabanas and campfire seating, all ideal for a group outing. Under their retractable roof adorned in disco balls, soak up views of the Las Vegas skyline alongside your meal.
Throughout a presentation from What Now Media Group Founder and CEO Caleb Spivak, business owners took turns introducing their concepts, giving updates about their progress and sharing their stories. Attendees also heard from industry-leading experts who shared more about the vital services they can provide to existing and upcoming businesses.
This was the first Accelerate event for Vincent Do and Jamie Schaper, the owners of Audio Bar, an exciting venture opening soon in the Arts District.
Do mentioned that the concept is “a high-energy bar [that’s going to be friendly, with a casual dress code, and they’ll never charge a cover, even when they book really great talent.” This will be a space for music connoisseurs and newbies alike.
Do and Schaper said their favorite aspect of the event were the variety of people who were there and the opportunity to network with local business owners.
