Los Angeles-based Filipino cafe Malaya has a Las Vegas expansion in the works. The cafe, whose name means “to be free” in Tagalog, aims to bring Filipino culture through beverages and a limited food menu.

Co-owner Anthony Salvador revealed plans for a Las Vegas location in an interview with What Now Los Angeles, though exact address details remain unknown. What Now has reached out for additional details.

The brand serves signature lattes such as ube creme and mango matcha. Salvador also teased a potential collaboration with another business in the expansion, though little is known at this time.

In addition to an expansion to Las Vegas, Salvador and his team are planning a second location in the Los Angeles area and expanding to Colorado.
