Popular custom cake shop Mary’s Cakes is preparing to move from its current location at 2885 E Charleston Boulevard, Suite 102. A building permit was recently issued by Clark County for Mary’s Cakes’ new home at 6714 W Cheyenne Ave.

“We are a family owned and operated Latina bakery based in Las Vegas,” says the Mary’s Cakes website. “We specialize in custom cakes, cupcakes, and baked treats.”

Mary’s Cakes come in flavors like vanilla, marble, chocolate, and red velvet, plus specialty varieties like Oreo, lemon, and churro. There are also cake fillings: fruits like strawberry and banana, cream cheese, cookie crumbles, and frosting varieties like buttercream and chocolate mousse.

Mary’s Cakes currently offers only custom cake orders, but a representative told What Now that this may change after the opening in the new location.

Opening on the northwest corner of the intersection between West Cheyenne Avenue and North Rainbow Boulevard, Mary’s Cakes will join a community that includes a number of well known restaurant chains, like IHOP, Olive Garden, Wendy’s and Jollibee.
