Founded in 2015 by David Zhao and Haibin Yang, Chubby Cattle International is at work on several projects in Las Vegas. An all-you-can-eat yakiniku spot is on its way to 4525 Spring Mountain Road, and that’s not all. According to recent coverage by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Chubby Cattle International is also planning to open Mikiya Wagyu Shabu House in Sin City.

“Chubby Cattle specializes in technology enabled food and drink spots,” says the Review-Journal coverage. “The group has a partnership with Masami Cattle Ranch of Northern California to raise free-range Japanese wagyu cattle, with a proprietary feed program, to supply its restaurants with beef.”

What Now found licensing paperwork submitted recently by Mikiya Las Vegas LLC for Mikiya Wagyu Shabu House. The paperwork shows the restaurant opening at 3930 Spring Mountain Road, near Fukuya Japan Market and Hafez Persian Cuisine, across the street from The Center at Spring Mountain.

Mikiya Wagyu Shabu House currently has a location in Temple City, California.

What Now reached out to Haibin Yang on Tuesday. Yang was not immediately available for comment.
