Popular fast food chicken chain Chick-fil-A is working toward another location in Greater Las Vegas. The chain currently has twelve operating outlets in the area, and paperwork submitted to the Henderson Planning Commission this month details plans for a thirteenth.
The location would be built on the northwest corner of the intersection between Water St and Lake Mead Pkwy.
Chick-fil-A is famous for its no-frills Chicken Sandwich, made with breaded chicken, pickles, and a bun. More elaborate versions are available, including a spicy chicken sandwich, plus deluxe versions of each, which tack on cheese, lettuce, and tomato. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich and the Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich allow guests to skip the deep frier. Chicken nuggets and chicken strips, and Chick-fil-A’s unique Grilled Nuggets complete menu. Slather any of these with the chain’s famous Chick-fil-A sauce.
A selection of salads and sides like the Cobb Salad and Chick-fil-A Waffle Potato Fries, as well as soups like Chicken Noodle and Chicken Tortilla round out the meal. For dessert: an Icedream® Cone, a milkshake, a Frosted Coffee, or a Chocolate Fudge Brownie.
The site on the Water St-Lake Mead intersection is situated near St. Rose Dominican Hospital. Opposite the northwest corner of the intersection is Lake Mead Inn Henderson, near neighborhood sandwich shop Straight From Philly.
No opening date has been announced for the new Chick-fil-A.
