Chinatown’s Shanghai Plaza will soon be home to Moxie Ultra Lounge, a new local brand offering an upscale off-the-Strip experience with a resort feel. Opening right above 85° C Bakery Cafe, the lounge will occupy in a 6,000 sq-ft. space, in the newly combined suites 201-203 at 4258 Spring Mountain Rd, featuring two outdoor patios overlooking the Las Vegas Strip skyline.
“Moxie Ultra Lounge is an exclusive upscale Lounge off the strip with a resort feel [and] a Miami beach vibe,” owner Raymond Camero told What Now Las Vegas on Wednesday. “There will be DJs, full bar, Specialty Cocktails, Asian Fusion Tapas Style cuisine and one of a kind Hookah.”
Camero comes to the table with on-the-Strip experience, having worked as a General Manager for Hakkasan Group.
“I wanted to take that experience from the Strip and have that same resort feel off the Strip.”
Moxie’s menu will feature Asian fusion small plates, shareable for 4-5 people. And the word “upscale” is no joke: a dress code will be strictly enforced, and tables will be offered by reservation only. Special events like Latin nights, industry nights, and more will feature DJs venturing off the Strip.
No opening date has been set yet for Moxie Ultralounge, but it is expected to open soon.
