Time flies: almost three and half years have passed since What Now reported on the planned opening of then-brand-new Korean BBQ restaurant brand Nalsso Korean BBQ. The restaurant has been going strong since opening, and now it looks to be planning an expansion.

This week, What Now found licensing paperwork submitted to Clark County by 4049 LLC showing plans for a restaurant opening at 6415 S Fort Apache Road, Suite 155-165.

The paperwork did not, however, include any reference to the restaurant’s name. A little more digging was necessary. What we found was an announcement by Virtus Commercial that Nalsso Korean BBQ had signed “a 128-month lease for 3,803 square feet of retail space at Longford Shoppes located at 6415 S Fort Apache Road, Suite 155-165.”

As it happens, 4049 LLC is registered to Jihyuck Hwang, the restaurateur behind Nalsso Korean BBQ, along with other concepts like Jjanga Steak and Sushi.

What Now reached out to a representative of Hwang’s Kanji LLC on Wednesday to inquire about plans for a second Nalsso Korean BBQ. The representative was not immediately available for comment.
