Nashville Cats Cocktail has been on a roll since it popped up on shelves at major liquor stores across Middle Tennessee and Lower Broadway music venues. The brand recently made its way to the streets of Las Vegas. The Colosseum at the Cesars Palace currently serves the ready-to-drink canned cocktail. Now, the team behind the Nashville Cats Cocktail is looking to expand the brand to include the Nashville Cats Cafe, and the first spot will live on the Las Vegas Strip.
The Review-Journal’s Neon reports that negotiations are underway to open a Nashville Cats Cafe at an undisclosed location on the Strip.
The Nashville Cats Cocktail brand is run by a team of entertainment and hospitality industry titans. Creative Artists Agency’s Rod Essig, alcohol distributor Robert Lipman, and former sports and entertainment executive Stacie Kinder serves are the Chief Operating Officer.
What Now Las Vegas briefly spoke with Essig via text about the venture. He informed us that the team is planning to meet this February to discuss next steps. But, was unable to share more details by the time of this publication.
“Nashville Cats Cocktails is a tribute to the original 1960’s Nashville Cats—the studio players whose skill shaped the soundtrack of a generation—and a toast to the new Cats keeping the music alive today,” the “Drink Nashville Cats” website reads.
“Rooted in the community, crafted with authenticity, and dedicated to reinvesting in the city we love. Crack one open. You’re drinking with legends…The Nashville Cats!”
While there aren’t many details available just yet about this new and exciting venture, we can expect that the Nashville Cats Cafe will come with the same Texas gumption and energy as the brand that started it all.
It was also reported that there will be food and live music in this Texas inpisred immserve dining and entertainment experience.
