A number of permit applications have been filed under the project name “Las Vegas Gyros” since 2019, and preparations appear to be ramping up. While the Greek restaurant has yet to make any public announcements about its opening, recent paperwork points to an upcoming debut at 5415 S Rainbow Blvd. in Rainbow Square.
Several Instagram posts from last year hinted at a March 2020 opening, but that timing did not go as planned. The property in Rainbow Square was previously occupied by Rita’s Ice, and is neighbors to 9th Island Kava Lounge, A Pizza Melody and Jimmy Johns.
Rainbow Square is owned by Ravan and Levian Flamrain, who have yet to comment on the new developments.
The gyro shop tenants are on record to have moved into the 1,200 square feet space in 2019. While the original March opening date did not roll out as anticipated, public records show a much more hopeful future for Las Vegas Gyros.
