Located on West Flamingo Road between South Torrey Pines Drive and El Camino Road, Phoenix Plaza is adding an Indonesian restaurant to its food and drink portfolio. Called Bali Cafe Indo, it will open in Suite 22 at the retail center’s address, 6370 W Flamingo Road.
After coming across licensing paperwork submitted to the City of Las Vegas for Bali Cafe Indo at that address, What Now reached out to owner Michelle Koehler. Koehler confirmed news of the opening.
“The opening is not for about another two months,” Koehler said.
The menu at Bali Cafe Indo will feature dishes like Tongseng (Wok-style curry, with choice of spice level and choice of protein Chicken or Lamb), Grilled Red Snapper, and Bakmi Jawa (Indonesian stir-fry or soup-style noodles, with protein choice and choice of spice level, served with kerupuk). There will also be a selection of starters, small bites, and desserts, including Batagor (Fried Chicken and Shrimp dumpling topped with peanut sauce), Steamed Shumai, and Matabak Manis (sweet thick pancake smeared with Wijjsman Dutch butter, with choice of fillings like Nutella, Ube cheese, and Durian).
Opening in Phoenix Plaza, Bali Cafe Indo be joining a restaurant community that already includes Axum Palace Resto Bar, Archi’s Thai Kitchen, Purple Potato Bakery, and Star Lounge Restaurant & Bar.
