Friendly Bear Plaza, the retail center just below the intersection of North Nellis Boulevard and East Washington Ave., appears to be welcoming a new pupusa restaurant into its food and drink community. Licensing paperwork submitted to the City of Las Vegas shows Pupusas Los Primos opening at 871 N Nellis Blvd, Suite 4.
Behind Pupusas Los Primos are Carolina Aviles, Javier Leiva, and Maria Aviles. What Now reached out to Carolina Aviles on Friday to inquire about plans for a new pupuseria opening in Friendly Bear Plaza. Aviles was not immediately available for comment.
Apart from the pupusa (a thick griddle cake originating in Central America that, if you’re not familiar, might remind you of an arepa), we’re left guessing for the moment as far Pupusas Los Primos’s menu offerings.
Opening in Friendly Bear Plaza, the new pupusa spot joins Tacos Los Toritos. The plaza is located just north of a stretch of Nellis Boulevard more densely populated with restaurants like Mi Lindo Nayarit, Art Cafe, Arby’s, Church’s Texas Chicken, and more.
Stay tuned for more details on Pupusas Los Primos as they become available.
