The community of food and drink spots on the northeast corner of the intersection between South Durango Drive and West Desert Inn Road will soon be home to a new restaurant. The Spot will open at 8410 W Desert Inn Road, according to recently submitted licensing paperwork.
What Now reached out Friday to owner Ryan Whelan to inquire about plans for the new restaurant. Whelan confirmed news of the Spot’s opening, saying it is expected launch in December, but declined to make any immediate comment on the concept.
As a result the details on The Spot’s menu offerings remain a mystery for now. What Now is awaiting more information.
Opening at the Durango-Desert Inn intersection, The Spot will join a thriving collection of restaurants, including The Legends Oysters Bar and Grill, Joy Burgers, Lazeez Indian Mediterranean Grill, Roberto’s Taco Shop, The MadHouse Coffee, and a PT’s Gold location. The location was previously occupied by Scenic Brewing Company.
