Rhodes Ranch is the future home of a new Subway location. The internationally recognizable sub sandwich brand will open at 9490 W Russell Road.
What Now confirmed the news in a phone call on Friday with “First Lady of Franchising” Donna Curry. Curry has been developing Subway locations—plus Winchell’s Donuts locations; sometimes opening both together under one roof)—for years and owns dozens in the Las Vegas Valley.
“January 12th will be forty years I’ve been developing Subway stores,” Curry said.
We’d be surprised if you didn’t have a Subway order of your own. Maybe you’re a devotee of the cured meats, an Italian B.M.T. person (like this writer). Or maybe you’re a classic Meatball Marinara fan. Either way, you know the drill: pick your basic configuration (other varieties include Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki and Chick & Bacon Ranch) and then pick the veggies to top your sandwich with.
Situated on the northwest corner of South Fort Apache Road and West Russell Road, the location will be part of a new retail building still under construction. Curry said the opening is still several months out—but then, doesn’t time seem to fly these days?
