Located at 9340 W Flamingo Road, Suite 111, Nutmeg Indian Cuisine offers quality Northern Indian food with an affordable buffet: $16.99 on weekdays, $18.99 on weekends.
“Any other buffet in Las Vegas will be charging $19.99,” Nelroy Rebello, who operates the Nutmeg Indian Cuisine family of restaurants together with wife Melissa and son Marcus, told What Now on Wednesday. “I’m not here for the money, I’m here for the people.”
Who wouldn’t jump at that offer? And all the more so with restaurant’s unique special offer: after five buffets, the sixth is free.
Meanwhile, that’s not only true for Nutmeg Indian Cuisine, but for the whole family of restaurants. That offer also includes Nutmeg Indian Cafe, a fast-casual sister concept with an emphasis on takeout and Indian-style street food. It also includes Nutmeg Indian Eatery, the third Nutmeg Indian concept, which will open this month at 10960 S Eastern Ave, Suite 107, in Henderson this month.
Remarkably, Nutmeg Indian Eatery will be the brand’s third restaurant to open in the course of three months. Its menu will focus on both Northern and Southern Indian cuisine, with a Southern Indian twist.
“We’ll have lamb dosa, chicken tikka dosa, paneer bhaji dosa,” said Rebello. “And just like at our other restaurants, you can customize everything. And, any day of the week, you can come in and see the kitchen, and we’ll show you how the food is made.”
“As chef & owner of Nutmeg Indian Cuisine for the last 5 years, I make it my top priority to make sure that my customers are happy and satisfied after eating our food,” says Rebello’s bio, posted on the Nutmeg Indian Cuisine Yelp page. “We strive to serve the best quality food & offer the best service so everyone is content. We have worked hard over the last 5 yrs to make a name for ourselves and have created a new dish called Pasta Tikka Masala which is a unique fusion item that everyone loves. Our Goan curries are so Rich & delicious made with fresh coconut milk.”
And then? What Now asked. After three locations in three months, are you planning to keep growing?
Rebello says yes! A fourth Nutmeg is in the pipeline, somewhere on the Strip, featuring a fusion with Hawaiian Cuisine—but further details are still under wraps.
